Favorite Fall/Winter Lip Products

Hi everybody!

Hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving and are finding some great deals from black Friday shopping! I have been wanting to share this post for a long time, because lipsticks are my favorite make up product. I’ve reached the point where I’m very happy with my make up collection, but I always have room to add new lipsticks! So I’m here today to share with you my favorite lip products for the fall and winter time.

Revlon Colorburst in Smitten: these lipsticks are one of my favorite lipsticks ever. I really enjoy the crayon method because the application feels more like a balm than a lipstick. You can buildup the intensity to your liking too, and the color leaves a stain that lasts all day. This color is a beautiful berry color once you build up the intensity.
NYX Butter Lipstick in Pops: the formulation of these lipsticks are to die for. There are smooth in application, and color pay off is great. This is a “my lips but better” color. Perfect for on the go!
Revlon Colorburst in Romantic: this is quite a warm red, orange color. I like to apply this color on lightly since it can become quite intense, and the orange tone isn’t my favorite. When applied sheerly, it’s perfect.

City Color Be Matte Lipstick in Cappuccino: this is my absolute favorite nude color at the moment. It’s a pinky, brown shade, and I especially love it because it’s matte. Unfortunately, like with most matte lipsticks, the formula can be drying on the lips.  But at $4.99, it’s a steal!
Rimmel Lasting Finish in Bordeux: this is the darkest berry shade I own (I’m still looking to add even darker shades). The formulation is very smooth and pigmented. I absolutely love this color, especially in the winter time.
Rimmel London Kate Moss Collection in 103: this is hands down, without a doubt my all time favorite lipstick. It’s matte, it’s beautiful and it’s perfect. The color is a beautiful wine-berry like color. It’s glides on so smoothly on the lips and leaves a lovely stain with wear. Best of all, it’s matte and nondrying! I highly recommend any lipstick junkie to add this color to their collection. Another plus is it smells like starburst!

Nars Satin Lip Pencil in Rikugien: this is another great “my lips but better” color. The formulation of these lip pencils is so smooth and incredibly pigmented. I received this one and the following color in my Sephora birthday gift.
Nars Velvet Matte Lip Pencil in Cruella: another beautiful matte red color. I love love love this lipstick as well. It’s more drying than other lipsticks, but the color is the perfect shade of red.
Rimmel London Show Off in Comet: I love this line by Rimmel London. If you haven’t had a chance to try them, please do! They are less that $5, and incredibly pigmented. This is a lovely pink nude color for everyday where with a glossy finish.

Rimmel London Show Off Lip Velvet in Burning Lava: if you haven’t noticed, I love my reds. Even though I have expressed how much I love my other red lip colors, this is an absolute must have. This and my Rimmel London 107 are my holy grail red lip products. It’s a beautiful, deep red color with incredible pigmentation. With lip balm applied beforehand, the formulation is not drying on the lips, and it lasts for hours! Did I mention it’s matte?
NYX Butter Gloss in Creme Brulee: I’m sure if you’re into lip products you have heard of these heavenly glosses. The application is smooth as butter, and the color is beautiful! This one is a gorgeous pink nude to add a bit of glam to any look.

I hope you enjoyed all the lip products I’ve shared. Please comment below if you have any recommendations. I’m always open to adding more to the family!

The NARS lip pencils are awesome. I got two of them for free from Sephora and I swear by them. You’re totally right, “my lips but better” – couldn’t have said it better myself.
