Last fall, Taylor Swift released her first pop album, 1989. I was very skeptical at first of what her album would sound like. If you haven’t heard Taylor’s music before then one, you must have been living under a rock, and two, Taylor is an absolute lyrical genius. All her songs tell a story that truly draw listeners into her mind. I was worried that she would just write one hit wonder pop songs that had no substance and just a catchy tone. But 1989 is without a doubt her best album yet. It blew my mind away. I think I listened to her album for two months straight and had the melodies and lyrics engraved in my mind within a week.
When Taylor Swift announced she went on tour, I knew I HAD to be there. So I bought my tickets, and 2 weeks ago I was at the Dallas Cowboy Stadium singing my heart out with Taylor and 60,000 other swifties. She is without a doubt one of the best performers ever. The show she gives, the details she puts in, and the engagement she has with her fans is amazing. If I could, I would attend another one of her concerts in a heartbeat. And if you get a chance, you should definitely too. It was honestly one of the most magical evenings yet.
